Empower the Champions by celebrating those people in our communities that already have given so much to bring about change in George. We will do this by blessing them and meeting a need in their lives that they possibly have not been able to meet.
This is an area of the NPO that focuses on finding local heroes that are already adding value to their community and to bless them in an area where they may be experiencing difficulties. Empower would put together a volunteers' team/s from a church or businesses who would be willing to assist with uplifting the champions home life. All resources for these projects would be donated by individuals, churches or businesses. This may entail things like: building a roof, repainting a shop face, blessing their children with school clothes and stationary... As long as the need is tangible and it can be fixed as such.
Celebrate heroes in the community. These are existing community members or organizations who have given their lives for a greater cause but often continue to struggle. Empower would like to come along side them, uplift their environment, support them in their mission, so that they can continue to influence the community.
